About this tour

Looking for  a getaway that combines adventure, breathtaking views, and a break from the routine? A trip to Bir Billing is the perfect choice for you.

Nestled in the serene hills of Himachal Pradesh, Bir and its neighboring Billing, located just 15 kilometers apart, are renowned for their adventure offerings. Bir, perched at 8,000 feet, is famous as the second-highest paragliding take-off point in the world. The exhilarating experience of soaring above the lush valley offers unmatched panoramic views and an adrenaline rush that will leave you hooked.

While paragliding is the primary draw for adventure enthusiasts, Bir offers much more than just the thrill of flight. The town is a haven for culture and nature lovers alike. Enjoy a day of cafe hopping, explore the local markets, visit the cascading waterfalls, or embark on a trek through the picturesque surroundings. Every corner of Bir offers a new experience, ensuring that your weekend is packed with excitement.

The town is also deeply influenced by Tibetan culture, which adds a unique charm to the area. Among its must-visit attractions are the Buddhist monasteries, where the peaceful atmosphere and spiritual surroundings offer a refreshing contrast to the adventure-filled activities.

To enhance your experience, we ensure that your trip is more than just a series of activities. From group bonding exercises to exploring hidden gems like Sunset Point and Bir Waterfall, every moment is designed to help you connect with the place and its culture.

For paragliding, the best time to visit is from November to January, as these months offer clear skies ideal for flight. While the thought of soaring high may seem intimidating, rest assured, the paragliding sessions are conducted by certified professionals who ensure your safety and comfort.

The story of paragliding’s origins in Bir Billing adds to the charm of the destination. According to local legends, the sport began when a local enthusiast crafted his first paraglider from polythene and rags—an inspiring tale of ingenuity and passion.

Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or someone seeking peace and culture, Bir Billing offers the perfect combination of both, making it an unforgettable weekend destination.
