Itinerary
Distance Covered: 210 km | Time Taken: 8-9 hours
After a fulfilling breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to Guptkashi, known as "Hidden Benaras." This tranquil destination, steeped in spiritual significance, derives its name from the legend where Lord Shiva hid from the Pandavas. Guptkashi is a perfect summer getaway, with temperatures seldom rising above 30°C, though winters can be quite chilly.
The journey will take us through Devprayag and Rudraprayag, offering spectacular views of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. The Mandakini river originates from Kedarnath, adding to the divine aura of the journey. Upon arrival, we will visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple before checking into the hotel for a restful night.
Distance (by road): 30 km | Distance (by trek): 19 km | Time Taken (by road): 1 hour
The second day is a highlight of the Chardham pilgrimage. We head towards Kedarnath, a place where Lord Shiva is said to have granted the Pandavas redemption. Set at 3,583 meters, Kedarnath is a breathtaking spiritual destination with the majestic Kedarnath mountain range towering in the background. It is always cold here, so light layers of clothing are recommended.
There are two ways to reach the Kedarnath shrine: by helicopter (not included in the package) or by trekking. If you choose to trek, we will drive to Sonprayag, take a local jeep to Gaurikund, and begin the trek from there. After visiting the shrine and spending some time in the serene atmosphere, we will check into a hotel for the night.
Distance (by road): 30 km | Distance (by trek): 19 km | Time Taken (by road): 1 hour
After a spiritually enriching experience at Kedarnath, we retrace our steps and return to Guptkashi via the same route. The journey will allow time for reflection, as we return to the hotel in Guptkashi to unwind after the day's trek.

On day four, we make our way to Badrinath, our final dham for the trip. The climate here is cool, with temperatures ranging from 8°C to 18°C, so extra layers are always advisable. In the winter months, Badrinath is often closed due to harsh weather conditions.
Upon reaching, we will check into our hotel. One of the must-do rituals in Badrinath is taking a bath in the holy Taptkund, followed by darshan of Badrivishal. We will also witness the spiritual and awe-inspiring evening aarti. During the day, we have the option to explore nearby attractions, such as Mana village (inhabited by Indo-Mongolian tribes), Bhimkund, Matamoorti, Vyas Gufa (the cave where Ved Vyas is said to have composed the Mahabharata), and the mouth of the Saraswati river.
Distance Covered: 250 km
We begin the final day with a peaceful sunrise in Badrinath, followed by a delicious breakfast. We will then drive to Joshimath, where we’ll visit the Narsingh Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his Narsimha avatar. From there, we proceed on our journey back to Haridwar.
Upon reaching Haridwar, we have the option to attend the iconic evening aarti at Har Ki Pauri, marking the end of this divine and enriching journey.
